Wheat Leaf Sampling Protocol.

When to Sample: At the flowering stage, when the first stamens appear.

Where: Preferably from the main stem.

How: Two or at most three leaves, below the spike.

Quantity: 50 samples of 2 leaves each. Sampling should be conducted across the entire plot.

Conditioning: Place the batch of leaves in a sturdy, clean plastic bag. Label each batch clearly with: Name, address, variety, date of sampling, and plot reference.

Precautions: Avoid sampling during full bloom. Send to the laboratory as soon as possible.
