Quality control

Quality control

Traceability: Samples are numbered and monitored at each step of the analysis.

Validation: Measuring instruments and all methods are validated.

Non-Contamination: The entire analytical chain is regularly checked. Our grinders are selected to minimize contamination. For each batch of samples, blanks are included (to monitor digestion and instrumental analyses).

Control: Samples of known composition (BCR or NIST type) go through the entire analytical procedure. Control charts are generated accordingly.

Uncertainty: A measurement of uncertainty is systematically provided with each analysis result.

Example of a control chart:

Unknown samples and control samples are analyzed in the same analytical batch. If the reference sample value exceeds the red limits, error causes are investigated, and all samples are re-prepared and re-analyzed.
